The Distortron is the gifted little sister of the Box of Rocks pedal. It has been designed to sound like a Marshall JTM45 with all its settings turned up to 10. It is, however, quite flexible with the amount of gain it gives as there is lo/ hi gain switch as well as a gain drive knob. The pedal also reacts very nicely to the amount of signal you give it so, for fine adjustments, one can tweak the volume knob on the guitar itself.
The Vexter series is the same as the original but silkscreened instead of handpainted which saves you a lot of money if you don't need the fancy paintjob.
