Fret Shield

The Fret Shield is pushed between the strings and the fingerboard during transport or storage. Protects the frets, the fingerboard and the strings. Additionally, it controls the moisture content in the case thanks to its silicate crystal content! If required, the enclosed small indicator plate can be clamped onto the Fret Shield to indicate when the Fret Shield should be put back in the sun or on the heater to dry. Made in Japan.
