MXR M306 Poly Blue Octave

Far more than just a simple octaver, the Poly Blue features four separate and adjustable octaves: -1, -2, +1, +2. Polyphonic by default, these octaves sound great for both single notes and chords. However, if you're looking for a raw, vintage sound, the monophonic mode offers the lower octaves the warm, analog sound of the classic MXR Vintage Bass Octave. The upper octaves, meanwhile, have the distinctive vintage sound of the Octavio Fuzz.

The Poly Blue's fuzz stage is inspired by MXR's legendary Blue Box. Simply hold the DRY button to adjust the fuzz volume. Combined with the lower octaves, the fuzz sounds thick and throaty, while the upper octaves create synth-like tones. When activated simultaneously, a storm of thunder and lightning will pierce your amp!

In addition to the octaves and fuzz, the Poly Blue features a modulation stage: In polyphonic mode, it simulates a rotating Leslie effect, and in monophonic mode, it becomes a Phase 90. To take things even further, many parameters can be controlled via an expression pedal like the Dunlop Volume X 8 or a switch like the MXR Tap Tempo to switch from one mode to the other.
