NUX DM-8 E-Drumset

The new DM-8 electronic drum set from NUX is designed for semi-professionals and professionals. Silent practice and performance with an authentic playing experience – this is the formula that NUX engineers have implemented at their renowned price-performance ratio.

The DM-8 consists of a solid rack system, and its drum shells and bass drum are covered with mesh heads whose tension can be adjusted to your liking and whose rebound feels like a real drum set. The authentic playing feel is further enhanced by the freestanding hi-hat, which can be played in open, closed, or half-open settings. The also freestanding snare, which features the latest 3-point trigger technology, allows for versatile and highly dynamic rim shot or cross-stick playing styles.
The newly designed freestanding 10-inch kick can also fully handle a double bass drum pedal. The new kick pedal features a double chain and a reinforced base plate. The double chain design ensures a more stable swing of the beater, while the thicker base plate prevents the entire pedal from moving freely.

The crowning glory of the DM-8 is its clearly designed user interface, which allows precise adjustment of the sound mix using individual group faders. In addition to 30 pre-installed hi-fi drum sets, you can also input your own drum samples. The module also serves as an interface for other DAW and MIDI applications.
The new DM-8 sound module is packed with innovations and eye-catching features, including group faders that assign audio levels to each individual pad. Easily create your own drum mixes! 30 drum kits with different styles are also included. Regardless of your drum style, you can achieve the sounds you want. Intuitive and powerful sound customization features allow users to freely edit their own drum kits. You can assign any sound to the rim or the head.

The DM-8 module is also an audio interface, capable of sending stereo audio and MIDI data to a Mac or Windows computer via USB. This allows you to record discrete audio and MIDI drum tracks in any DAW or trigger sounds from software-based drum instruments for studio or live applications. Want to record more than one stereo pair? That's no problem. You can record up to 14 separate audio tracks in your favorite DAW. The DM-8 lets you import your own WAV samples via a USB flash drive. Now you can create your dream kit with your favorite samples and assign them to each pad for playing. Jam away! The DM-8 features a wide selection of built-in songs for you to jam along to, including a dynamic variety of musical styles for every type of drummer.

Practice makes perfect! Record your solo drum performances to a USB flash drive or upload your favorite backing track, play along, and save it as a WAV file to analyze your playing by playing the entire mix.
