NUX Mighty Space Compact Amp

NUX's Mighty technology already has a good reputation: No wonder, because the quality of the amplifier and effect simulations of the realistic TS/AC-HD algorithm has already convinced many professionals and critics. NUX's new top-of-the-line portable amplifier offers the latest sounds and features from NUX's dedicated R&D department. The Mighty Space is a 30-watt stereo desktop amplifier with modeling and rechargeable battery power.

The sound is transmitted via two 4-inch coaxial speakers and a bass reflex system, allowing the compact enclosure to deliver balanced and impressive stereo sound quality! Additionally, for more spacious and louder sound reproduction, a speaker output (4, 8, and 16 ohms) is available for connecting a 4x12 cabinet if desired. Be honest, when have you last powered a half-stack with a battery-powered amp?

The battery life is 7 hours, making the Mighty Space more than just for practicing in the office. The amp is also equipped with a NUX B5 Wi-Fi receiver (transmitter included), allowing you to play from a distance of up to 10 meters without a jack cable. This ensures an even more untethered experience. Connection via a conventional jack is still possible, of course, and this jack also allows you to charge the Wi-Fi transmitter.

The amp also offers several wireless features: The integrated Bluetooth system allows for easy management of the audio stream and presets/modeling amps via the Mighty Amp mobile app. Furthermore, The Mighty Space offers all the well-known amplifier, cabinet, and effects models, which have been redesigned specifically for this amp: a total of 21 amps, 34 IRs, and 43 effects for guitar and bass.

Each preset contains a total of 10 blocks of modular effects that can be arranged in any desired order. The volume of the preset can also be individually adjusted. A total of 7 presets can be configured, saved, and shared. The "Active" function allows you to select your favorite presets for a customized selection.

All of this can be controlled via the free Mighty Amp smartphone app (Android/iOS). Virtually endless sound possibilities are offered in studio quality and with a direct, natural feel thanks to a latency of just 1.2 ms. Connected via USB, the Mighty Space offers the benefits of a true audio interface for easy recording, streaming, or reamping. The Mighty Editor software (PC/Mac) allows you to edit and save your presets, as well as integrate third-party IRs (impulse responses) with automatic WAV formatting.

Drum & Amp also offers a looper function and a configurable drum machine via the Mighty app. This allows you to load backing tracks tailored to your particular musical style, and you can jam or practice along to artist backing tracks or your own. You can also set times for the backing tracks to automatically switch presets while the backing track is playing.

The included NMP-2 footswitch is particularly useful for controlling the Drum & Amp function; loops, or scrolling through presets.
