NUX Queen of Tone

The NUX Queen of Tone combines two legendary sounds in one pedal! In blues and blues rock, the combination of a Marshall Bluesbreaker combo and a Klon Centaur overdrive pedal is something of a gold standard - it allows you to create incredibly diverse and dynamic sounds and really explore the full sonic potential of an electric guitar.

NUX now offers this sound concept in a handy pedal that combines the qualities of the Morning Star and Horseman pedals, delivering those highly sought-after airy and dynamic overdrive sounds. The pedal also features the add-ons of both pedals.

The Morning Star (Bluesbreaker) section of the pedal has a “Shine” mode that simulates a treble booster in front of the amp and provides an extended high-frequency spectrum and a little more gain.

The Horseman (Klon Centaur) section, on the other hand, features a "Silver" mode, which provides a sharper attack, clearer highs, and a higher gain level. Connoisseurs will know that the Klon Centaur was manufactured in a gold and a silver version, which are the two sound variants' inspiration.
Each section of the NUX Queen of Tone has potentiometers for drive, tone and level.
Flexible and switching options!

The Queen of Tone offers even more sound options than the two individual pedals, the MorningStar and Horseman. The internal routing allows you to switch the signal path order: For example, the Horseman section, when placed after the MorningStar section, provides a boost in volume and punch, especially in the mids and highs. If the Horseman section is placed before the MorningStar circuit, as usual, it creates a fat, saturated, and sustain-rich tone.

Further flexibility is provided by the ability to switch between true bypass and buffer modes, as well as adding a FET gain stage to the signal path. The input FET stage harmonically overdrives a downstream amplifier, resulting in even more smacking sounds.
