NUX Sixtyfive Overdrive

The year 1965 was a particularly good year when it came to guitar sounds. Connoisseurs are particularly familiar with the so-called "Magic 6 Sound." The NUX 6ixty5ive from the popular reissue series is designed precisely according to these specifications. The pedal, with its elegant brown glitter finish, delivers the powerful yet bell-like sounds of the classic black-panel tube amplifiers of the 1960s.

This makes the 6ixty5ive an easy-to-use, glassy overdrive that preserves the characteristics of the guitar with pleasant sustain and extremely natural compression. The degree of compression/saturation can be fully adjusted using a trim pot on the front panel. The pedal freshens up the guitar tone, and string strikes come across with a lively smacking sound - thanks to the JRC4558 op-amp and clever circuitry. The 6ixty5ive also adds a well-adjustable base distortion to the sound, which combines perfectly with other pedals.

The NUX '6ixty5ive' was inspired by a legendary overdrive from a boutique pedal manufacturer in Tokyo.
