NUX Verbcore Deluxe

The NUX VERB CORE DELUXE is a reverb pedal with 8 different reverb sounds, including Room, Hall, Plate, Damp, Shim, Spring, Tre-Verb, and Mod Verb. You can easily select the reverb type with the Type knob.

Room reverb simulates a smaller acoustic space. In such a space, many reflections are absorbed by soft materials, and the sound bounces only off the walls (covered with wallpaper), the windows, and perhaps some furniture. This type of reverb thus resembles the normal ambience we are used to hearing in the real world.

The Hall mode is based on the legendary Lexicon 224, which was released in 1978. Its famously lush reverb tail defined the sound of an entire era. This mode offers a rich reverb sound with a warm, organic decay.

The plate reverb was inspired by the EMT 140, a reverb unit based on a metal plate suspended in a steel frame. It recreates the reverberation of an acoustic space, but with a specific nuance that represents a now-classic sound from the early days of pop music.
The damp reverb sounds huge and endless, warm and natural.
The shim/shimmer sound shifts the reverb in each feedback loop up an octave, creating a supernatural, almost spaced-out sound. This is a unique effect that opens up some interesting and experimental sounds.

Spring mode simulates the fluid, drop-like sound character created by the mechanical vibration of a spring reverb. Spring reverb is the classic sound for surf music and rockabilly!

Tre-Verb (Tremolo Verb) combines tremolo and spring reverb, reminiscent of a vintage tube amp. This sound offers a warm tremolo and spring reverb atmosphere that fills the sound with classic depth and dimension.

Mod-Verb (Modulation Verb) combines a large-scale chorus sound with a lush, atmospheric damp sound.
