This Delano pickup features an advanced coil design which employs custom steel blades, special magnets and full shielding. Its full bass and tight low mids blend fine with very articulate midrange into sparkling harmonic overtones. Just the right amount of output works great in full passive operation and interacts meticulously with today's internal or external preamps and/or EQs.

The JC 5 HE/M2 set is incredibly full sounding, but retains a tight bottom end and low mid warmth, velvet mids and sparkling top presence. These are the ingredients for a world class bass tone that responds flawlessly to every nuance of your playing. Well defined low-B string even on 34 inch scale basses and your E-string will still have the integrity of a good 4-string bass. Great in passive, active or hybrid installations.

Since its invention in 1957, the split coil P-Bass pickup is the proven industry standard of electric bass transducers.
