Finally, a new 7868 tube is available! Electro Harmonix has introduced new production of this hard to find tube. The 7868EH is a suitable tube for any guitar or vintage audio amp that requires 7868 tubes.
The Electro Harmonix 7868 have European magnoval socket pins (1,27mm diameter) while the American 7868 have novar socket pins (1,02mm diameter). You must use magnoval sockets with this tube. They can be forced into Novar sockets, however this will put stress on the pins, eventually causing air to leak into the tube.
