Washers for 'jacking up' a Duesenberg tremolo system. This may be necessary if the angle of the strings between the bridge and the tension roller of the tremolo is too large and the strings are therefore touching the rear edge of the bridge. As a result, the strings cannot move freely when the tremolo arm is actuated and instead get stuck. On guitars with a strongly arched top, it can happen that parts of the tremolo touch the top and damage the lacquer. This can also be prevented by using the Duesenberg washers.
