2-in-1 precision + notched straightedge for long scale (25.3 inch- 25.5 inch) guitar
StewMac's new 2-in-1 precision straightedge is the perfect tool for more accurate and faster setups. We took two of our most popular tools, the precision straightedge and the precision notched straightedge and combined them to create the most accurate dual sided straightedge on the market—at an incredible value. You get two precise, professional, American-crafted tools for the price of one.
We see many different straightedges come on the market (most based on our original design), that sacrifice quality for price. But as you know, a straightedge is one tool where inchgood enough inch simply isn't inchgood enough. inch Often .001 inch can make the difference between annoying buzzes and a perfectly setup guitar.
That's why you need a tool that has a dead flat edge you can depend on. For accurate setup work and building, it's essential to determine the flatness of your fingerboard and know with absolute confidence your frets are level.
With our 2-in-1 Precision Straightedge you can instantly:
- Check the flatness of your fingerboard
- Check if frets are level
- Quickly measure neck relief
- Determine if truss rod adjustments are necessary
- Locate problem areas
- Find high frets
- Determine if surfaces are flat
Whether you're building a new instrument, repairing a vintage heirloom or tuning up your favorite daily player, this straightedge gives you the biggest bang for your buck possible.
